Abstract

Being a woman with a dual role is not easy. Therefore, proper management is needed in dividing roles, if not managed properly, it will cause negative impacts on oneself and the surrounding environment. The purpose of writing is to look further into the psychological impact of women's dual roles and also proper family management in order to maintain the health and harmony of the household. This research uses the literature study method, by looking for online journal sources that are in accordance with the problems studied. The process of presenting data is done by selecting sources of information that have been collected and then analysed by reading in depth. The results of the impact of women's dual roles are (1) Work Stress Disorder and (2) Psychological Distress. The solution to the impact of psychological disorders is with management in the family, such as (1) Psychological Well-being. according to Ryff there are 6 dimensions: autonomy, personal growth, environmental mastery, purpose in life, positive relations with others, and self-acceptance.   (2) Stress coping and social support from family and work environment. according to Taylor's view it can help reduce the impact of physical and psychological fatigue (3) Structural Functionalism Theory Robert. K Marton. considering and choosing expected functions over unexpected functions (4) Talcott Persons' Structural Functionalism Theory. emphasises sensitivity in looking at the availability of resources, such as material, energy and information to be able to achieve a family goal.
